Do you trust God’s timing to purposefully shift the details of the universe for good?
Life is filled with decisions
which
rely on timing and details coming together.
What we do, when we do it, and where we do it
impacts lives.
Timing is crucial in everything. One
word or action can change the timing of the events of our life; however, for
those who are in a relationship with God can trust Him to work in all things for
good (promised in Romans 8:28): And we know that in all things God works
for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his
purpose.
To trust God to work in all
things . . . in the time . . . in the place
. . . and in the results requires surrender and trust. The thing is . . . God will shift the details
in the universe to put His plan into place . . . study the first Christmas.
To personally experience the shift of the
details in the universe . . . we must be
engaged in an ongoing relationship with God. Read Luke 2.
A decree was issued to all the
Roman world to take a census . . .
Joseph was required to go to Bethlehem
the town of David . . .
Joseph belonged to the house and
line of David . . .
Mary, expecting a baby, went with
Joseph . . .
The time came for the baby to be
born . . .
But there was no guest room
available . . .
Specific shepherds lived in
nearby fields . . .
The Shepherds were watching their
flocks that night . . .
An angel announced the messiah was
born . . .
The angel told the Shepherds the
details . . .
The angel said the baby was
wrapped in cloths in a manager . . .
A group of angels joined the
angel and praised God . . .
The Shepherds hurried off and found
Mary, Joseph, and the baby . . .
The Shepherds told other people .
. .
The people were amazed . . .
On the eighth day, the time came to
circumcise the baby . . .
The baby was named Jesus, the
name the angel told Mary . . .
When it was time for purification
rites required by the Law of Moses . . .
Joseph and Mary took Jesus to
Jerusalem to be presented to the Lord . . .
Simeon lived in Jerusalem . . .
The Holy Spirit revealed Simeon would
live to see the Messiah . . .
Simeon went into the temple
courts at the same time . . .
Simeon held Jesus, praised God, blessed
the family, and prophesized . . .
Anna, an 84 year-old widow, was
there . . .
Anna never left the temple . . .
Anna worshiped night and day,
fasting and praying . . .
Anna came to them in the same
moment . . .
Anna gave thanks to God. . .
Anna spoke of Him to all those
who were looking for the Redeemer.
Think on the intricate details
that came together the first Christmas.
Surrender
your plans.
Trust God to shift the details of
the universe together for His good plan.

Love
God, who created the universe,
gave up everything that we may live in His love by sending His Son. The
love of God is not a-one-time gift but an ongoing-active -continual gift.
This is
love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
Pray with expectation.
Breath
prayer: Continually in Your Love.
