Don't Do It . . . Do Not Enter

“DO NOT ENTER.”
The sign was big . . . clear . . . and obstructed the entrance;  however, the plain and simple directions did not stop people from entering the blocked road.
As I sat in traffic and watched, I wanted to warn them: "Don't do it!"  I knew that the road needed repair and had been the site of an horrific accident.
Apparently, some individuals feel they are exempt from  warning signs . . .
or perhaps assume they are entitled . . .
or simply don't care . . .
so . . .
they enter places they have been warned not to go.

The thing is . . . there are spaces and places in life that are not advisable to enter in . . . but we do.  Some of those places include the unseen in our life . . .  negative and unhealthy thoughts and attitudes . . . which lead to an oppressed perspective and management of life.  We need to place a "do not enter" sign over negative and unhealthy thinking and attitudes.  Simply put, don't do it . . . do not enter.

Ultimately, Christ transforms oppressed living.  The Light of Christ breaks upon us . . . giving light . . .  even in the darkest places of life.  In his book, Luke wrote:
Because of God's tender mercy,
the light from heaven is about to break upon us,
to give light to those who sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
and to guide us to the path of peace." (Luke 1:78-79).

Don't do it . . . do not enter into negative and unhealthy thinking and attitudes.
Seek the Light of Christ.
Ask Christ to give light to thoughts and attitudes and to guide you to the path of peace away from oppressed living.

Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . enter into the Light on the path of peace.
