Perspective

Too often we only see life through what we are experiencing in the moment. And, sometimes it seems too difficult to do anything else. The thing is . . . we have been given the capacity to develop a perspective that encompasses what has been, what is in the moment, and what could be.  Perspective changes, when we see beyond the moment.
In his writing, Luke began his first book explaining that the account of Christ comes from the perspective of eyewitnesses and servants of the word.   Their perspective revealed truth:
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word, it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus (Luke 1:1-3).
Luke began the story by giving some details that occurred before the birth of Christ, in an era that nobody had any idea of what was about to take place. Perspective changes when we look back and see more of the picture.
The coming of Christ into humanity revealed the kind of relationship God desires to have with humanity. It is a day in and day out, participative relationship, which includes the details that can only be seen through faith. Perspective changes, even the darkest moments, when we invite the true Light into the daily details of life.

Stop.
Take a breath.
Look again . . . gain perspective.

Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . with perspective.
