Value

Church on the Hill senior pastor, Jerry Moen, has a passion for hunting. It is a valued activity for many individuals in our community.  Isn’t it remarkable that God has created us with the ability to experience life in a variety of ways?

The thing is . . . when you get down to it . . . the value of anything we do . . . can be measured by how it impacts the way we live for Christ.  How is it possible to live with value in what we do?

Take time to focus on these scriptures:
1.     Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3)
2.   So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
 3.  [ Life Worthy of the Gospel ] Whatever happens, as citizens of heaven live in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together with one accord for the faith of the gospel. (Philippians 1:27)
4. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:9)
Take time to stop and evaluate whatever you do.
Determine if what you are doing will bring value to your life as a Christ follower.

Pray:  God, I need Your presence in whatever I do.
Commit whatever you do to God.
Do whatever you do for God.
Live in a manner worthy of the life Christ has given you.
Put God’s way of life into practice.
Learning with you to KICK START the day
 . . . intentionally living for God,
