The Best Day Ever

In the last two weeks we have had funerals for three children.  Each of them impacted the world with their unique enthusiasm for life.  We can all learn from what one child said on a daily basis, “This is the best day . . . ever!”

Daily plans, pressures, and problems often drive the way the day goes.

What would happen if we approached each day as the best day ever

One thing I know for sure is that our perspective will change to enable us  to  see the day as a gift.  The Apostle Paul explained how to perceive life in
Philippians 3But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ (3:7).

Look at the key to living with the concept that every day is the best day ever
through the choice to live for the “sake of Christ.”
The reality of the presence, power, and peace of Christ
in union with our personal life changes how we perceive the day.

How is it possible to live beyond the daily pressures and problems?
When we live for the “sake of Christ”  we surrender and rely on the guidance of the Spirit of God . . . a daily choice and process:  But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Live today and every day as the best day ever.
Choose to live for the sake of Christ.
Experience the continual transforming presence of the Spirit of Christ.
Ask God to empower you through the Spirit to let go of anything that inhibits living fully and wholly for the sake of Christ.
Enjoy the freedom of living for the sake of Christ.

Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . as the best day ever.
