Take The Message of Christ Seriously

Life is most often missed from being stressed.  We live in times that people struggle with being pressured, overwhelmed, and overdone.

How do we let go of the stress to gain clarity of what is really important?

Christ explained:
"But my purpose is not to get your vote, and not to appeal to mere human testimony. I'm speaking to you this way so that you will be saved. John was a torch, blazing and bright, and you were glad enough to dance for an hour or so in his bright light. But the witness that really confirms me far exceeds John's witness. It's the work the Father gave me to complete. These very tasks, as I go about completing them, confirm that the Father, in fact, sent me. The Father who sent me, confirmed me. And you missed it. You never heard his voice, you never saw his appearance. There is nothing left in your memory of his Message because you do not take his Messenger seriously. John 5:34

The message of Christ shifts how we respond to life.  At the end of the day, when all is said and done, we can relax knowing that if we rely on Christ . . . if we take His message seriously . . .  we can face anything.   Christ came to save.  In other words, Christ came to free humanity.  To receive the gift of salvation is to receive freedom from the power of darkness..
What is  the result?
Christ followers will face  problems and pressures that seem insurmountable; however,  there is a freedom and a release that brings peace.  Christ said: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid ( John 14:27).

Are you overwhelmed?
Is your mind on overload . . . do you find yourself replaying details of an incident, a problem, an expectation, a need, or something that has distressed you?
Take the message of Christ seriously.  Surrender to the freeing power of Christ..  Let Christ be at the center of how you manage what you are facing.
Authentic peace comes from God--Shalom--which can be defined as knowing the presence and goodness of God. Shalom guards the heart from the worry and anxiety of problems and pressures. Ultimately, Shalom is health and well-being of body, mind, and soul.
Refuse to be stressed. Receive the freedom and the gift of peace through Christ.

Invite Christ, God with us, to be present in your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions.
Receive the peace of Christ's presence . . . know the power of Shalom . . . well-being . . . God is with you . . . all is well.
Learning with you to KICK START the day . . .  taking the message of Christ seriously,
