Watching

Too busy.
Too busy to pay attention.
Too busy to engage with others.
In the midst of the busyness . . . there is an emptiness . . . and a lack of value of what really matters.
God pays attention . . . He is present . . . and responsive to where we are going and what we are doing:
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
Knowing God continuously watches over us . . . with purpose and power changes our response to life . . . and allows us to participate in what really matters.  [In the ancient days, the Mesopotamian gods were known to be unresponsive at times.  So.  There was a contrast to God, who never slumbered.}
Believe . . . have courage . . . God is present, never slumbering, always watching.
Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . believing God is always watching.
