Believing God

I talked to an individual that was frustrated; he wanted life to be different.  So. He kept waiting for something better, avoiding what was in front of him.  The thing is . . . he had dreams; however, it did not seem that those dreams would ever become reality . . . if . . .  he kept doing what he was doing.
It was frustrating. He stopped believing. He did not quit his job; however, he quit mentally and emotionally.
Look at the ancient days.  What if Joshua had quit?  What if wandering the desert for forty years was too much?  Seriously, without belief, forty years of wandering would be too much.
Joshua did not quit because he believed God.  He spoke the crux of his belief: Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, 'The LORD your God gives you rest and will give you this land.' Joshua 1:13
There was no doubt that Joshua believed that God issued the plan for the people before the beginning of time. Despite the way circumstances seemed . . . he believed God. When he sent the spies out, the problems were not over.  The king of Jericho was told.  The one thing that spies do not want is to be found out: The king of Jericho was told, "Look! Some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land." (Joshua 2:2)

It makes sense it would be a problem to continue when the king found out . . . but the plan of God would not be deterred by the ruler of the land . . . it would be the spies decision how to respond.

We are given everything we need to break free of the restraints of circumstances.  God will use every detail to bring about His plan, including the things that don’t make sense and are downright difficult.
Take time to stop.
Become aware of God.
Believe God.

Learning with you to KICK START the day believing God.
