Work troubles. Time pressures.
Financial problems. Family responsibilities.
Worry. Stress.
Others.
Despite the demands of life, others mattered to him.
Others were more important than his circumstances.
He made a difference for the sake of others.
How many times do circumstances control our response to life?
Paul . . . in prison . . . refused to make circumstances his priority. He thought about others rather than himself.
. . . then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:2-4
His circumstances did not change how he lived. Even in chains, he cared more about others than himself . . . he chose the way of Christ . . . genuinely interested in others.
Pray: I chose to do what You ask regardless of circumstances.
Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . living beyond circumstances,
Pastor Kerrie
