Decisive

Our backyard attracts deer.
Several deer.
The deer do not stop at the edge of our yard but come into it, regardless of our fence.  We were told that the enclosure would threaten them.
Apparently not.
They come in with the mission to eat.
And they do.
None of our attempts to ban them from the yard distract or restrict them.
While, they are irritating . . . I have thought about how we are in their territory . . . and they know it.  They will not give it up regardless of what we do.

How many times do we give up where God wants us to be because it seems to hard?
Joshua made the decision that he would lead the people into the place God had called them to be: Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: 'When you reach the edge of the Jordan's waters, go and stand in the river' "(Joshua 3:8).
So.  The priests were instructed not to stop at the edge, but to go and stand in the river, the place where they needed to cross to receive what God promised.

God calls us to do our part . . . to take action . . . to risk in belief.
There is power in being decisive and sure . . . of where we are going  . . . and what we are doing.
The thing is . . . we must be careful to not spend more time in wondering if we made the right decision than following through with the decision we made. We are limited by unbelief. We are freed by belief.

When we participate with God, we are asked to:
Be decisive.
Take action . . . refusing to stay on the edge . . . but to fully engage.
Stand for what you are doing.

Learning with you to KICK START the day as decisive,
