Together in Death

They came together in a small room because of death.
It was tragic to think that death brought them together rather than life.
Most of their life had been lived apart rather than together as they struggled through the chaos of continual crisis.

They were angry . . . hurt . . . disappointed . . . and lost in their own pain.
Death only underscored their despair and darkness.

How do we become so lost in the dark side?
Study the words of Christ in John 15:5-6, NLT
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.
Those who remain in me, and I in them,
will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. (John 15:5-6, NLT)

The words express an intense need to be in Christ. Why?
With Christ, life will be fruitful . . . productive.
To be in Christ means to purposefully and continually live in His presence, power, and peace as an established pattern of life.
Apart from Christ,
life will be nothing . . .
relationships  . . . nothing.
marriage  . . . nothing.
family . . . nothing .
job . . . nothing.
finances . . . nothing .
in the end . . . nothing will last without Christ . . . life is wasted.

Stop.
Look.
Listen.
Meditate on what it means to purposefully and continually be in Christ.

Learning with you to KICK START the day by being in Christ.
