One Extra Hour

We set the clocks back today and gained an hour.  Time is the greatest commodity of our era . . . and we have extra time.  Some will invest the time wisely; however, time is more often misspent.
So, what will you do with an extra hour?

Philippians 1  describes intentionally living every moment for Christ.    We are created to  be actively engaged in the good work of God.   That said, we often let the problems and the challenges of daily life distract us away from the good works of God.  Ephesians 2:10 states, “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Yet, the good work of God is most often beyond our human ability.  It requires a perspective through the Spirit of God, “Nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37).”

The word, nothing, is key to intentional living.  Nothing . . . absolutely nothing is impossible  with God.  So, when God calls us to do something, we do not need to see  circumstances as obstacles.  Whether life seems difficult or not, we are promised that “we can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13).

Too often we see our limitations rather than the unlimited power of God, who enables us to do more than can be asked, thought of, or imagined (Ephesians 3:20) according to his power that is at work within us.

Pray:
I give you the hour, every hour.

Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . to give God the extra hour.
