Treasure

What do you do when you lose your job . . . your home . . . your child?

What do you do?

Loss changes the way we think, speak, and act; however, God is the God of more . . . there is always more to our life story.

Philippians 2 tells us that Christ purposefully gave up everything . . . purposefully lost all power and position so that humanity would have the opportunity to experience more.
The Light that pierces the darkness . . .
The Peace that stills the storms. . .
The Healer of the heart . . .
The Hope of the world . . .

Became a slave  . . . to free humanity . . .  so that we might enter into an active-ongoing-participating relationship with God.
Because of Christ, we do not need to define our life by our circumstances but through the abiding presence of Christ, the Treasure of life.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show
that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
 2 Corinthians 4:7

Stop.
See beyond your circumstances . . . see the presence of Christ . . . who became a slave that you might be freed from the power of circumstances, including loss.  Focus on the all-surpassing power from God.

Pray:
You are the Treasure of living.

Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . by realizing Christ is the Treasure of living.
