The Story Matters

Stories matter.
From the ancient days to the present . . .  the story . . . is told . . . and kept in hearts and minds throughout the generations.
The story connects our lives with one another.
Acknowledging the story . . . telling the story . . .  matters:
A little girl so sick she is in ICU. . . her story matters.
Her parents caring for her around the clock . . . their story matters.
Her sister wanting to see her . . . her story matters.
Her doctors and nurses caring for her and the whole family. . . their story matters.
And the story is the story of God . . . which we are to tell:
Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.
So how does our story change when we are redeemed?
The message of our story has become about a relationship  . . . through Christ . . . we are freed to participate in an ongoing-active-engaged life with God.  Look at the Early Church . . . who told the story to the world:   Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them. Acts 14:15
Think about the story God has for you . . .
Be grateful for the transforming story.
Celebrate the story.
Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . as part of the story,
