Reality . . . Make Each Summer Day Count

I often listen to people describe their experience of life.  More often than not, two people will describe the same experience as if they were in a completely different place.  They just don’t see it the same way.  And, as you might guess, differing perspectives create at the very least a disagreement and at the most . . . well . . . war.  Our personal perspective is developed from our personal reality. At times our personal reality disconnects us from the True Reality.
Luke wrote of the impact of True Reality:  “Because of God's tender mercy,
the light from heaven is about to break upon us,
to give light to those who sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
and to guide us to the path of peace." (
Luke 1:78  & 77-79, NLT).
We often are so caught up in the reality we want or attempt to create . . .  that when the rest of the world fails to cooperate with us . . . we come apart missing what God has for us.  Anxiety, stress, and pain are often byproducts of seeing life through our personal perspective. The light of Christ breaks through our limited perspective and opens our mind to see beyond what we can see on our own.
How do we engage with the reality Christ brings into our life?
Perhaps one of the greatest things we can do is to give up the “whys” of life and trust that Christ is the very breath we breathe . . .  everything we need for life.  We need to see that the reality of past, present, and future is Christ and realize that nothing or no one else can emulate it. The cool thing about that . . . is we don’t have to accept or put up with the “stuff” that comes with an untrue reality.   The Spirit of God will give a supernatural ability to trust Christ as Reality, even when it does not make sense.
The reality is that we need Christ.  Period. Plain and simple truth that defines a life that matters.

So. Make each summer day count and connect with Reality . . . let the light break in on you, guiding you to the path of peace.

Learning with you to KICK START the day in Reality,
