One of the best quotes from Frank Capra's movie, It's a Wonderful Life (1946) has to be "You've been given a great gift, George: A chance to see what the world would be like without you."
There is no mistake . . . the world would be different if you and I would never have been born . . . whether for good or bad . . . our life impacts this world. The thing is . . . it is easy to miss the fact that you and I matter . . . that we have the opportunity to live a wonderful life . . . in the span of time we are given to live on earth.

What is a wonderful life?

The Apostle Paul explained that a life is not about our circumstances but living with purpose, making a difference, and bringing hope for the sake of Christ.  He powerfully points out that at the end of the day nothing matters but living in union with Christ.  Study Philippians 3 and focus on  verse 8: More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of  knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ.

At the end of the day, we choose how we live, what defines our life, and ultimately what drives the way we think, speak, and act.   Pause today . . . determine if your day is defined by the circumstances you are facing or the presence of Christ.

Choose to live with the attitude that today is a gift . . .
to live a wonderful life.
Learning with you to KICK START the day . . . determined to live a wonderful life.
