Do You Know Your Password?

When did passwords become necessary for everything we do?  Seriously, it seems that before we are able to access our own information, we must go through a process:
Sign in . . . username . . . password . . . . remember me.
Can't Remember Your Password? Lost password? If you can't remember your Password, contact . . . we will send you a temporary password.

I understand all too well, about the dangers identity theft; however, needing a password for personal information is time consuming and often frustrating.

That said . . .  occasionally I refer to The Message . . . not for study . . . but for inspiration.   Meditate on how Psalm 100 describes a password that changes how we experience the presence of God:
Meditate on how Psalm 100 describes a password that changes how we experience the presence of God:
On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter,
sing yourselves into his presence.

Know this: God is God, and God, God.
He made us; we didn't make him.
We're his people, his well-tended sheep.

Enter with the password: "Thank you!"
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank him. Worship him.

For God is sheer beauty,
all-generous in love,
loyal always and ever.
(Psalm 100, The Message)

We will miss the full and rich life that comes from praising and worshiping God with thanksgiving, if, we fail to be grateful.  The password to the riches of life will always be “thank-you”  . . . which is not dependent on circumstances but on the intentional attitude of gratefulness.
So . . .

On your feet . . . applaud God . . . and remember "thank you" is the password to enter into living a life worth living.

Pray:  God, You are Joy, I give thanks to You for all things.

Learning with you to KICK START the day
. . . intentionally to getting on my feet with thanksgiving.
