Perspective

They were in a car wreck.  The impact on their life seemed to be an everyday-ongoing-nightmare.  They listed the possible future challenges that realistically could occur. Each listed item gave reason for concern and fear.
Fear begins in the mind, which directs fearful words and behavior.  A mind-flip moves us to faith . . . which directs faith and courage.  Without argument . . . a change of perspective is difficult . . . consciously and intentionally focusing on faith rather than fear.
How is it possible to have a different perspective in the midst of life challenges?
The Apostle Paul described the experience of a changed perspective through the presence of Christ.
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. (Philippians 3:7-9)
When it gets down to it, by intentionally focusing on Christ first . . . through the power of the Spirit . . . a change occurs . . . what we perceive is important . . . does not compare with the presence of Christ.
Individuals experiencing the presence and power of the Spirit are given the choice to receive the gift of putting confidence in Christ rather than in circumstances. There is a profound difference of living with a perspective of faith rather than fear.
Pray:  I fall upon my knees before You God . . . surrendering my fear . . . choosing faith . . . rising as on eagle’s wings. You are worthy . . . the Lamb!
Assess your thoughts today.
Admit the thoughts directing you away from faith.
Ask the Spirit of God for the power to changing your perspective to faith.
Experience a mind-flip . . . developing your thoughts, words, and actions . . .  through faith rather than fear.
Learning with you to KICK START the day
. . . intentionally developing a mindset of faith.
